DISNEY THE ART OF FRIENDSHIP SHEET OF STAMPS

Description

The United States Postal Service issued this sheet of 20 self-adhesive stamps on June 23, 2004. Titled “The Art of Disney – Friendship,” the sheet includes five copies each of four different stamps; these stamps feature Mickey, Bambi, Simba, and Pinnocchio and their friends. Postmaster General John Potter stated that The Art of Disney stamps “…capture the spirit of friendship as it appears in the art, the imagination and the creative tradition of Walt Disney.”
